Step Three - Effects

This could be as simple as changing an image to black and white or sepia to more complex procedures such as turning an image to black and white and keeping selected parts in colour, changing the tone of an image (adding duotones) or changing colours of clothes, objects completely.

The Original	Here the image has been desaturated leaving just the hint of some faded colour on the cloth at the front of the boat

The Original	Here the original has been cropped, had a brown/orange tint applied, and had the interfering 3rd boat on the right erased

The Original	Here a sepia tone has been added and the edges of the photo darkened	The Original	An example of 'colour-popping'. The image has been desaturated with only a selected area of the original left in colour.
